Romeo
In Romeo and Juliet, by Shakesphere, the character I like them most is Romeo because he’s, caring, sensitive, and a lover. His actions taught me that true love is worth death, if you really want to be with someone.
In the play we are introduced to Romeo who is a very caring person, especially to his family or someone he loves. I think he’s caring because he said, “my very friend, hatn got this mortal hurt in my behalf; my reputation stain’d with Tybalt’s slander,” (Shakesphere 46). He’s caring because he cared that Mercutio had just died and it was his fault that Tybalt had been able to stab him but it was also his best friend and he cared that something had happened to him. He loved Mercutio enough to try to get revenge on Tybalt because he murdered him.
I also think Romeo is sensitive. He’s sensitive through everything he says and does. “Tut, I have lost myself; I am not here; This is not Romeo, he’s somewhere else.” (Shakesphere 7). He supposebly loves Rosaline at the time and was upset that she didn’t love him back.
Romeo also was a lover. He always loved someone no matter what they had done to him in the past. “It is my lady; o, it is my love! O, that she know she were!” (Shakesphere 25). He loved Juliet so much, even enough he had just met her. That’s why he proposed to her that night and they got married the next day.
Yes, I think Romeo is caring because he cared a lot about Mercutio when Tybalt killed him and he wanted revenge for his best friend. I also think he’s sensitive because he was very upset when Rosaline didn’t love him back. He also was a lover. He loved Juliet very much, as much to kill himself because he thought she was dead. From his actions he taught me that true love is worth death, if you really want to be with someone.
